This article by Health.com gives eight reasons why carbohydrates are good for you. It talks about how carbs control blood sugar, curb cravings, and keep you satisfied. Sometimes I poo-poo the timing of articles and the source of the article, but I have to say that I believe this one whole-heartedly.
Carbohydrates get such a bad rap, but your body needs them. It boggles my mind when people cut bread, pasta, and rice completely. There are whole grains that are healthy when eaten in moderation. That’s all there is to it, just don’t eat half a box of pasta or too much processed snacks. I just don’t see the big deal here about eating carbs.
