Celebrating 28 Years of Amy

Tomorrow is my birthday. I have mixed feelings about it. There’s the point that I’m that much closer to thirty. And that just sounds dirty. Then there’s the good that’s coming. For one, this will be the year that I get married. This will also be the year that I go to Nova Scotia, possibly buy a house, and is the year that I will get a full-time teaching job (putting out the positive energy there). So I guess turning 28 has it’s up sides.

Another upside is that I got to come home to an early present. Katie decided to make me homemade hot cocoa mix. I was more than happy to get that treat tonight and to share it with a self-frosting nutella cupcake, with extra nutella in the middle.

Yeah. So far 28 feels pretty good.

28 is going to be a great year!! You forgot to mention that we will be celebrating our “silver” friendship anniversary this year. Twenty-five years…and counting. You have come a long way from being “free”….I would have paid $1.00. Hahahaha
I love you and HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!

Happy Birthday! I’m really mad at the snow/sleet situation because it means I might not get to say so in person. I hope you’re having an excellent day and enjoying your hot chocolate.

Happy happy birthday! I hope it was lovely. The snow may be inconvenient, but it sure does look beautiful! I hope you’re enjoying a cozy dinner with Doug and Katie.
    See you soon!
