3rdfloorbakes has hit a milestone today– the number of visits nearly quadrupled from the last highest day. That’s incredible! Thanks to those who read everyday and keep me motivated to write each day. It’s so great to feel creative and like I’m putting my English degree to use.

To celebrate this feat I made kale chips. Okay, the kale chips were not a celebratory treat, but made because I didn’t get a chance to this weekend.

Kale Chips

Heat oven to 300. Wash a head of kale thoroughly to remove any dirt. Tear leaves from large stems. Dry leaves. Toss with 1-2 tablespoons olive oil and salt and pepper. Cook for 20-30 minutes or until crisp.

Tastes like potato chips!

    I made kale chips a couple times last week and Jack loved them. Then, late that night, he puked them up. It skipped the pb&j sandwich and something else he ate that went in after the kale, and just puked up kale. I wonder if he’ll eat them again!
